Part of growing as a clinician is doing trainings and getting specialized consultation in your chosen field of practice. i provide consultation for MSW interns, and LCSW clinicians working towards licensure In NY. In addition, i offer both play therapy and EMDR consultation to clinicians looking to strengthen their knowledge in these areas.
FOR MSW INTERNS
Are you looking for a supervisor for your 2nd year internship to teach you how to practice clinical social work? I supervise interns in clinical practice both with children, adolescents and adults. My goal as a SIFI supervisor is to teach interns the art of doing clinical therapy; the beginning, middle and end phases of therapy so you feel confident to apply for a clinical social work position upon graduation.
FOR LMSW CLINICIANS
Are you an LMSW social worker looking to strengthen your clinical practice? As a supervisor, I can help you integrate your studies and passion as you continue to train post graduation in your field of choice in social work. I have lots of experience supporting therapists in the field of play therapy, sand tray, DBT and EMDR with all ages. As a NY State Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I can provide documentation for your LCSW licensure.
FOR THERAPISTS SEEKING TO LEARN PLAY THERAPY
As a Registered Play Therapy Supervisor (RPT-S), I can guide you in helping your clients with play therapy. I have many years of play therapy experience in my private practice ranging from ages 2 through adolescence. Furthermore, I can sign off on your hours so you can qualify to become a Registered Play Therapist. If you are EMDR trained, I will help you integrate EMDR into your play therapy practice.
FOR THERAPISTS SEEKING EMDR CONSULTATION
As an EMDRIA Approved Consultant, i can help you integrate EMDR into your practice with both children and adults. I am certified in EMDR since 2014 and keep up to date with all the latest training and research in the EMDR community. I specialize in helping therapists break down their cases and conceptualize EMDR targets that can help their clients heal. In addition, I can help play therapists integrate EMDR into their practice with children and get hours towards both EMDR and RPT certification.
